:I was born in New Castle , Ind, on Nov, 16 1924, My parents were named Harold and Pauline. My grandfather was Bowen Pressnall. There were five children . My father was the youngest .He had a brother , Harlie, sisters, Effie, Hallie, and Dot. My grandparents, and Harlie are buried in the mouslium in New Castle. Bowen had a cousin who served in the union army , and after the civil war went to Iowa. My mother's maiden name was Clawson. Her decentents were the Mallot Family, and they had farms outside Cambridge City. : In the genealogy I have studied I find that there were 2 families of Pressnall's at least who migrated from Henry County, Indiana to Blue earth near Mankato Minnesota just after the Civil War. Don't know if the ones inquired about on this board are descendants of that family or not. The ones who migrated to Blue Earth would have been brothers or sisters to my husband's ancestor Daniel, who married Catherine Munden and remained in Henry County.
